Treat your canine friend to spectacular views and an enclosed garden when you stay in this charming family home nestled on the Iveragh Peninsula. Set in the heart of the scenic Ring of Kerry, your warming accommodation sleeps eight humans and one pampered pooch in complete comfort.

Usher your puppy into this delightful country house and immerse yourselves in a welcoming atmosphere and colourful decor. The large lounge is a wonderful spot for enjoying your morning coffee, gathering for film nights, or warming chilly paws before the open fire. Mealtimes are a breeze thanks to the country-style kitchen/diner, which is packed with everything needed to prepare delicious dinners for all, while the dining table is window-side to lap up those rolling hillside views. Watch your canine companion fetch sticks as they bounce around the lawned garden while humans can soak in the star-twinkled skies. Say goodnight to your pup and head upstairs to four charming bedrooms: two doubles, one of which boasts an en-suite shower room, a double bedroom with an additional single bed, and a cosy single bedroom. Finishing off the property is a well-appointed family bathroom, which is a welcome sight at the end of energetic days.

Sniff out scenic landscapes, including the enchanting shores of Derrynane Beach (3.5 miles). Voted one of the best beaches in Ireland, this idyllic pooch-friendly shore has clear turquoise waters and sweeping golden sands, making it ideal for lively four-legged friends. Discover the historic house and ancient abbey while you're here. Further along the coast is the village of Waterville (6.5 miles), renowned for its world-class golf course and delicious seafood restaurants. To stay on dry land, the 125-mile walking trail of Kerry Way is a popular choice. Join the route in the village of Caherdaniel to embark through mountainous landscapes.

We stayed at the house in October 2025. The house it self is adequately equipped with everything you need including a open fire. The beds are comfy the house is clean and the views are impeccable. I don't think you can find a house with better views. The area surrounding the house is lovely. Not far from the Kerry way and the Mass Path down to AbbRead moreey island and Derrynane. The house is also dog friendly with a large enclosed garden. The owners (Michael and Carol) will come and greet you and are happy to have a chat. They also have the added benefit of just living up the road so if there is any issues they can be there. Overall it's a fabulous house in a great location somewhere you'd be happy to return to year on year. Hide
