Ilfracombe is a popular coastal town and very dog friendly with plenty of pubs, shops and eateries that welcome your canine pal. Lead the way along the rugged South West Coast Path, that winds through Ilfracombe and takes in some spectacular views. It stretches all the way through Devon and Cornwall, so you can go as little or as far as you want. If you prefer days soaking up the sun on the beach, the beautiful Wildersmouth Beach (300 metres) and Watermouth Bay (3 miles) welcome dogs all year round. Explore further afield and head to wonderful Woolacombe (6 miles), which has further stretches of sandy shores, and the 18 hole pirate theme adventure golf course, Funder Island, great fun for all the family
