Make unforgettable memories with your loved ones at this gorgeous holiday home sitting just 1 mile from the picturesque village of Glenbeigh. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal option for small families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing cottage to call home while they explore the stunning Kerry coast together. Spend happy mornings walking with your pups at Rossbeigh Beach – the views of the Dingle Peninsula are spectacular. In the evening, come home to the cottage's pretty garden and indulge in a sizzling BBQ feast while your pups play freely in the enclosed space.

Step inside and you’ll find an interior that effortlessly blends rustic elegance with tradition. Make yourself at home in front of the glowing wood burner in the stylish lounge before you head to the farmhouse-style kitchen area to whip up some dinner for you and your loved ones to enjoy in the spacious dining area. Alternatively, head out into the courtyard garden, fire up the kettle BBQ and dine alfresco. The courtyard is enclosed so your pups can run free while you eat. After dinner, take a seat on the lounge sofa and enjoy the warmth of the crackling burner while your pups sleep contentedly at your feet. At bedtime, take your pick from the three lovely bedrooms conveniently located on the ground floor: one elegant super-king-size, one double and one twin. Completing the layout, you’ll find a modern family bathroom with a shower on the same level.

Grab your walking boots and head to Caragh Lake (5 miles) to enjoy a peaceful walk along the lakeshore with your dogs – the views of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks Mountains are magnificent. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and visit Dooks Beach (5 miles), a small, secluded beach that’s perfect for a quiet day out with your dogs.

We enjoyed a lovely week here in April 2026. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Joan, the landlady could not have been more welcoming, even coming out to greet us after we arrived very late on a cold, wet and windy night. Very handy location for exploring the ring of kerry. It is a couple of kilometrRead morees from the village, so a car is necessary. The main road is not safe for walking but about a 30 mins walk to the village via the back roads. Hide

Excellent place to stay, ideally located for access to Rossbeigh strand beach (which our two dogs thought was heaven) and for visiting all that County Kerry has to offer - fantastic scenery and even better local food. Recommend to all.
