The holiday home enjoys a remote location in the tiny Cornish hamlet of Crugmeer. The property sleeps six guests and two dogs, and would suit a large family or group of friends. A short, 1-mile stroll will bring you to the sandy beach at Trevone Bay, where you and the hounds can take a pre-breakfast stroll or after-dinner amble. Afterwards, return to your cosy cottage for refreshments in the garden, overlooking the open countryside. Another ideal beach which is within walkable distance from the cottage is the dog friendly beach of Tregirls, at low tide the beach can expand up to nearly a mile and half with golden sand and small caves to explore.
The holiday home has bags of country-cottage charm and boasts vistas over open fields towards the sea. At the heart of the retreat is a cosy lounge, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV/DVD, and a rug for the pups to curl up on. Also on the ground floor is a characterful dining room and a sunroom with direct access to the garden where the hounds can set up camp. There is a Shaker style kitchen with countryside views and off the kitchen is a handy utility room. There is a king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, which is located on the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor and enjoy distant sea views. Outside, your four-legged friends can play on the two enclosed lawns whilst you relax on the patio.
The beautiful beach at Trevone Bay is just 1 mile from the property. In season, it welcomes hounds before 10am and after 6pm. However, if you fancy a beach day with Rover and Fido, head to nearby Harbour Cove (less than 1 mile) which welcomes four-pawed visitors all year. The stunning South West Coast Path can be joined from both beaches, and offers truly breathtaking views along this dramatic stretch of coastline. The vibrant seaside town of Padstow is 1.5 miles away and has a fantastic selection of paw-friendly eateries, along with boat trips, sandy beaches and picturesque walking trails.
