The delightful, open-plan kitchen/diner overlooks the courtyard, with a large island breakfast bar where you can chat with the cook of the day. Original features enhance the open-plan lounge with its comfortable sofas, crackling wood burner, formal dining table and French doors that open onto the courtyard. An additional cosy snug with seating and a TV is perfect for pets to enjoy a nap, while a ground-floor double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a delightful free-standing bath. Upstairs await three more sumptuous double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, the others benefiting from the well-appointed family bathroom. Outside, enjoy al fresco food and drinks in the quaint courtyard, a lovely spot for a quiet morning cuppa.

You’ll find a village store, pubs and a coffee shop in Nottage (all within 0.5 miles), with more independent shops and a great range of eateries in lively Porthcawl (1 mile). Enjoy the Watersports Centre, funfair rides and a trip on the Land Train along the esplanade. While seasonal restrictions apply on the busiest section of beautiful Rest Bay beach, the sands at Pink Bay and Newton Beach are dog-friendly all year round (both within 2 miles). Visit the excellent Porthcawl Museum and RNLI station on the harbour wall and head to historic Ogmore Castle (8 miles) for wonderful views.
