With a dog-friendly pub and the South West Coast Path both within 350 metres, this charming barn conversion in West Cornwall is a wonderful spot for a chilled-out holiday with your pet. You’ll have the Lamorna Cove beach also just 350 metres away (some dog restrictions may apply) and plenty of other beaches in the 5-mile radius, including the stunning Pedn Vounder Beach (5 miles) which welcomes doggies all year round. With one double bedroom, the property is ideal for a couple or a solo traveller, and one hound.

This quirky barn was once the studio of Denys Law, a local painter, woodcarver and copper worker. Today it combines characterful architecture with modern facilities, making it a welcoming holiday dwelling. The open-plan living space is a cosy space to relax with your pet, with its atmospheric vaulted ceilings. In the contemporary kitchen, prepare a slap-up meal then pour out some celebratory wine as your pet revels in the happy holiday atmosphere. Once you’re fed and watered, ascend two steps to reach the lounge area, which has a sofa and a Smart TV for cosy evenings in. Your doggie will love warming her whiskers by the electric fire while you snuggle up with your partner. Outside, you can gaze up at the stars on the raised patio terrace. A picnic table provides a delightful spot for al fresco dining under the trees.

Visit tranquil local sites like the Merry Maidens Stone Circle (1.5 miles) or join the coast path for a scenic walk towards Mousehole (3 miles) in one direction or Porthcurno (6.5 miles) in the other. Your pet can lead the way as you take in the rugged terrain, breathtaking sea views and abundant wildlife (that’s if your pet doesn’t scare it away!). Nearby attractions include the gorgeous Sennen Beach (8 miles, please note there are some dog restrictions in summer) and the iconic St Michael’s Mount at Marazion (11 miles).

This was an absolutely delightful studio to stay in, well maintained, clean and had everything we needed the welcome pack was lovely, especially as we forgot a few things. It has great access to great walks and the cove by foot and you can almost roll out bed to the pub. The pub is friendly and has amazing food. Lamorna itself is peaceful and in aRead more beautiful wooded valley. We walked leisurely to Mousehole from here and back in a day. The coastal path is a great walk with some fun challenging scrambles over rocky areas. Hide

We had a lovely few days and the cottage had everything we needed. I have improved my reversing skills greatly backing into the parking space!!! Lamorna Cove is so beautiful and there are many great places to visit in the surrounding area. The pub was very friendly and the food there was delicious.

Lamorna Cove is a lovely location and the property is ideally situated to make the most of it. The property itself is well equipped and comfortable. As it is situated in the trees the property is dark and if you leave the doors and windows open to let light and air in the mosquitos are a real problem so go prepared. This probably applies to all proRead moreperties these days but 580 for three nights is poor value especially when you take into account the outside space. Doesnt help when you cant access the property until 4pm and have to be out by 10am. Also, and this is not the fault of the property but the pub opposite is closed on Monday and Tuesdays, which kind of influenced my slight disappointed with my stay as I arrived Sunday afternoon and left on Wednesday morning. Sad times. Hide

We had a great stay. Loved the peaceful location. If you have a long car or a van you would struggle to park it next to the property and there isnt any other option for parking. Great location for the bus stop if you want to use it for walking the coast path or visiting other places without having to worry about parking etc.

Lovely cosy cottage well equipped . Dark in summer due to its location under the trees but this helps keep it cool! Parking space fine if you reverse in ,our Audi A3 fitted with room to spare.

Lovely, tiny, cottage in beautiful location, and pub opposite excellent but only serves food on some evenings so check out availability. We had a lovely time. Parking isn't suitable for large car or timid driver!

The cottage is idyllic, comfy and ideal for a couple, and their dog. It is located in what we think is one of the most atmospheric and beautiful areas in Cornwall. There are plenty of places to visit, and great places to eat out in the area. Would highly recommend for a lovely time away.

Enjoyed our stay but probably wouldnt return as living area very small - would rather have smaller bedroom/kitchen area. This despite being out every day. Great location. Clean, and well equipped. Pub only open a couple of days a week now. Had lovely meal though.

The studio is clean and welcoming, if a little lacking in natural light. As mentioned in previous reviews neither the bed or bedroom are king size, but there is sufficient storage space. The location is great for walkers, the coastal path is just down the lane and the bus stop for the lands end coaster open top bus is a ten minute walk. In the otheRead morer direction. Lots of nice pubs locally, though we found the local pub rather unwelcoming. Hide

Lamorna is a gorgeous little place, very secluded nestled in the trees which makes the cottage a little dark, the cottage itself was very comfortable and we had all we needed for our stay, we had a lovely welcome gift on arrival, some fresh flowers in the vase and a tea tray made up with some lovely Cornish biscuits
