Take time out to explore the spectacular Jurassic Coast with Bonzo by your side. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom cottage in Langton Matravers, 3 miles from Swanage, is perfect for a small family or two couples and their canine companion. From here you can step straight out to enjoy the beauty of Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck, then return to your three-storey base to watch Bonzo race up and down the lawned garden.
Return from your days out to enjoy the warmth and welcome of this inviting, dog-friendly retreat. Brush the sand from Bonzo’s feet and fur and wander into the lounge/diner. This open-plan space is ideal for pups who like to pad about and people who want to settle down in front of the TV. The galley kitchen, which adjoins the dining end of the main space, is well-arranged for whipping up holiday feasts and feeding your four-legged friend. Conveniently adjacent to the kitchen, is a fully fitted utility room containing a washing machine, sink and storage, also benefits from a downstairs WC. Bid Bonzo goodnight downstairs and head upstairs when eyelids begin to droop. The twin bedroom is up here, while the king-size bedroom is on the second floor. The long, enclosed garden is the paw-fect place for Bonzo to play in the sunshine, while you light the BBQ and sizzle supper out in the fresh air on warm evenings.
Grab the dog lead and take Bonzo into Swanage with you to dine out in dog-friendly pubs and cafes and spend time on the sections of the sandy beach without any restrictions. Studland, 5 miles away, has a great, open sandy beach with dunes, where he can run free at any time of year. Durlston Country Park, 4 miles away, is another superb, dog-walking destination. Pick up the South West Coast Path here and stride out in either direction with Bonzo beside you to enjoy glorious seascapes.
