Tucked away in one of the most romantic villages in the country, this two-bedroom property welcomes up to four people and two dogs. Taking pride of place in Lulworth Cove village, pink-toed and paddy-pawed outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element with the easy access to the South West Coast Path. Look forward to gentle ambles and rugged stomps in the fresh sea air; there are few other places which boast such comfort as well as great proximity to both the iconic Lulworth Cove beach and the jaw-dropping Durdle Door.
Take the three outside steps and enter the cottage; from the entrance, you will immediately be greeted by the welcoming lounge/diner. A spacious room with lots of natural light, sumptuous seating and a wood burner, relaxing here will be a treat whatever the season. Further inside, you will find the kitchen, well-provisioned with plenty of handy appliances, utensils and a cute breakfast bar. Rustle up some treats for the gang and slide your dogs some treats of their own to nibble on. Completing the downstairs is a bathroom, whilst upstairs there is a shower room and two attractive bedrooms (with some reduced head height in the eaves).
In summer, spend dreamy afternoons in the rear courtyard garden and sizzle up flame-grilled feasts on the BBQ. When you are ready to explore, pop your pups on their leads and head off; with so many walks nearby, your only difficulty will be choosing which one. A particularly nice dog-friendly beach though, Man O' War Beach (1.5 miles) sits like a scene from Jurassic Park, with vegetation-clad, tumble-down cliffs and turquoise waters. For something a little different, pay Lulworth Castle’s grounds and tearooms a visit, or head into Wareham (9 miles) for a choice of pet-friendly eateries.
