For walkers, there is direct access from here to the coastal path taking you through the different local habitats and the stone ruins of old wheelhouses. Hire a bike and cycle the ‘mining trails’ close to Portreath's various woods or along the Coast to Coast trail to Devoran (8.5 miles). Take a drive along the picturesque coast and visit Godrevy Lighthouse (9 miles), Hayle (9 miles) and the popular fishing harbour town of St Ives (16 miles).
