The kitchen is well equipped for preparing holiday meals, with a dining table for four adjacent. After supper, get cosy on the comfortable seating and gather around the wood burner. As you enjoy the warming flames, you can set up a movie marathon on the Smart TV. The double bedroom is tastefully decorated with a deep colour theme, and is complemented by a bunk bedroom which is ideal for children. The interior is completed by a family bathroom. Outside, you’ll find a terrace where you can dine in the sunshine as well as a second terrace with seating and further shared gardens which you are welcome to wander.
The cottage is located just 3 miles from Portreath, a little gem of a seaside village where you’ll find pubs, shops and a large, sandy beach – where furry friends are welcome all year, other than between 10am and 6pm in July and August. Take the coast path for a scenic hike in either direction, or head to Tehidy Country Park, 2.5 miles, for a choice of excellent walking trails. The A30 trunk road is close at hand for exploring further afield – don’t miss a stroll around the wonderful shops and eateries of St Ives, for example, 16.5 miles.
