Welcoming four guests and two canine companions, this sleek and stylish coastal apartment is perfect for families looking for an escape to the seaside with miles of windswept cliff-top walks a stick’s throw away.

The neutral colour palette, stylish design and fetching views in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offer a true warmth that invites tired toes and paws to unwind. Sink into the sumptuous sofa and catch up on your favourite programme on the Smart TV as your top dog curls up on the comfortable rug at your feet. Leave your pup to doze as you fill up their water bowl and rustle up some tasty treats in the contemporary kitchen; enjoy your efforts seated at the kitchen island or, on a fine evening, throw open the patio doors to dine alfresco on the balcony. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime, head upstairs to retire to the twin bedroom (can be made up as a king) or en-suite super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (can be made up as a twin) which features another balcony perfect for catching some sublime sunrises and sunsets. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Canine companions will go barking mad for an afternoon of feeling the golden sand of Harlyn Bay Beach (0.5 miles) between their paws; playful pups can spend hours running through the impressive dune landscape behind the beach. Venture to the idyllic village of Padstow, 3 miles away, to discover the best local treats this area has to offer from its tempting selection of independent cafes and restaurants. Head off for a long walk along the Camel Trail, a traffic-free disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow, or join the trail on two wheels if your four-pawed pal can keep up.

Fab flat right by the beautiful Harlyn Bay. Great bar downstairs with live music., shop and cafe. Very comfortable beds. Great cooking facilities and board games.

Lovely apartment, perfect location! Close to Padstow, golf and many beautiful beaches. Modern and incredibly clean. We are a repeat booker of the same location and hopefully be back again soon.

The flat itself is lovely - it's literally a minute from the fantastic Harlyn Bay beach, it's modern, bright, clinically clean and is very well fitted out. It's super comfy in all aspects. Minor problems with hot water systems not working on arrival, were very promptly and efficiently sorted by the owner via a phone call. What we were not advised Read moreof though on booking, the ground floor is being developed into a restaurant and bar. So, for 5 days of our week, any day time spent in our flat was spoilt by constant work noise and deliveries. Had we known before arriving, we would have chosen another property. Ongoing, I suspect that if you are looking for a lively property and are happy with noise, then this will be the perfect flat for you. If like us though, you want something a bit quieter, I'd recommend another property. Hide

Very high standard, and beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need. We were walking the costal path and this property was in a perfect location, for us to walk from/to, with a bus stop right next to the beach.

I loved staying at Avalon. The proximity to the beach and coast path was wonderful. The house is lovely and had everything I needed , even to bake a cake. The bed was really comfortable as well. All together excellent and somewhere I would definitely stay again.

Wow!!! What a beautiful property in a simply perfect location. The stunning beach is less than a minute away. Everything you could possibly need is catered for with the highest quality furniture and furnishings. We will be back next year and hopefully many more after!!

A super comfortable, stylish and perfect location, we couldnt have enjoyed our stay any more. Genuinely steps from the beach, you can be on it less than 2 mins after waking up! Lots of beautiful coastline walks from the door, we hardly used our car. Loved our stay at Avalon
