Ideal for couples or small families bringing two furry companions, this delightful cottage boasts a hot tub in the garden, a wood burner for chilly evenings and bedrooms with TVs. It’s located close to the wonderful Lyme Regis, with its dog-friendly beaches, great places to eat and drink and a variety of attractions for all ages.
Pretty as a picture, this stone-and-brick house is accessed via a set of steps that lead down to the front door. Head inside, your pups at your heels, and explore the kitchen/diner, with its runs of pale cabinets, then head into the welcoming lounge, where two sets of double patio doors allow plenty of light to flood in. Cosy seating surrounds a Smart TV and a wood burner – the perfect setting for a quiet night in while your hounds snooze on the wooden floor. At bedtime, settle your mutts for a night of doggy dreams and head to the first floor, where you’ll find two coastal-themed double bedrooms, both with TVs, and the family bathroom. The enclosed courtyard is the perfect place in which to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub or an al fresco meal while your furry friends sniff and chase their tails.
The cottage is just 60 metres from a pub where dogs are allowed in the beer garden. For more places to eat and drink, Lyme Regis is 1.5 miles away, and here you’ll also find no less than three beaches where your four-pawed pals can play all year round. Take your keen companions for a run along the coast path, or travel inland to Forde Abbey, 9.5 miles, a medieval treasure with glorious gardens, dogs on leads welcome.
