A well-looked after, clean and comfortable cottage, which has been thoughtfully renovated and well-equipped. The terraced garden is really pretty and dog-friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and discovering the local area!

Fern Lea is wonderful! The house is well designed, warm and comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and the en-suite shower is hot and easy to use. Be wary of bumping your head on the low entrance to the bedroom though, my husband got caught a number of times. The light and airy kitchen is lovely to spend time in. And theRead more garden is stunning even though we didnt really have the weather for sitting out in it. If you have a large/tall dog be aware that there is a low section of fence at the back of the garden, to allow nice views, but if your dog is an escape artist they may get out, I would guesstimate the fence is approx 3ft high. Other than this the garden is very secure which is always a concern for us and our terrier. We were able to park outside every day, sometimes on the opposite side of the road due to there being another car there already. The bar and shop are so handy being just across the road, the shop shuts at 5pm. The Ship pub down the road was closed when we were there but was nice when we visited on previous years. And The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe is a nice and relaxed and The White Horse is a bit more up market. The walk to the beach is an easy and flat 20-30 mins, and Brancaster beach is a great beach for the dogs, nice flat compacted sand. You can drive down and park at the car park but at 6 for 2 hours parking we preferred to walk! Fern Lea was very clean and has lovely faux flowers all over the place, I felt very at home. Thank you Hide

Great location, beautifully renovated and very comfortable, warm and well equipped cottage, perfect for the 3 of us. Right on the road so you have to be careful with dogs or small people when opening the door. Great village shop nearby and The Ship is a lovely pub. Easy 20 min walk to Brancaster beach (parking is 5 minimum so this is good!). We hadRead more a lovely week here and would definitely return. Only drawback and it's minor is that the parking space outside the cottage isn't really a parking space unless you have a very small car but we easily parked a bit further down the road. Hide

Gorgeous cottage we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect, the garden with its many different areas to sit was really appreciated. The location was spot on so close to the beautiful marsh walk, village shop across the road, The Ship pub and a short walk to Brancaster Staithe to the White Horse (fabulous sea food), the fish shop and DeRead moreepdale stores. Beautiful property, with wonderful garden. Spent a very comfortable week here. The mattress on the king bed was very comfortable! Love the shower attached to the bedroom. Nice level to the water pressure. We had a good week and would definitely book your property when we head to Norfolk again. Thank you.
