This inviting barn is part of a complex of cottages, which all enjoy a scenic spot on the fringe of the coastal village of Combe Martin. The beach and South West Coast Path are only 3 miles away for seaside adventures, or you can make the most of the moorland trails through the Exmoor National Park, 6 miles away. A short 13-mile drive leads to Lynton and Lynmouth, where you can experience a scenic funicular railway ride and dip in and out of its selection of shops and eateries. Nearby attractions include the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle, both within 2 miles. More beautiful beaches can be found within 8 miles of the barn, including those at Croyde and Woolacombe.
This charming cottage exudes character, retaining many original features such as wooden beams and exposed stone walls. Step inside and admire the spacious, open-plan layout. The lounge/dining room, adorned with a wood burner, invites relaxation on the two comfy sofas, set before the Smart TV. The adjacent dining area, to the rear of the lounge, accommodates up to five guests around the table. Descend a small step into the bright and spacious kitchen, equipped with everything you could need for a stress-free stay. For added convenience, guests can utilise the shared on-site laundry room, complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs are the bedrooms. There’s a lovely single bedroom, a master double bedroom with a Juliet balcony offering picturesque views of the countryside, and a twin bedroom with 2’6’’ beds. The three bedrooms share a tastefully appointed family bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath, and a WC.
The site itself has some excellent onsite facilities, which guests are welcome to take advantage of, including an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, an outdoor tennis court (May to September ONLY) and seven acres of communal grounds featuring landscaped lawns, a dog walking/exercise fields, woodlands and ponds. There is also a shared laundry room available.
