The cottage was home from home. Everything we needed was there. The owners were lovely and helpful. Just a restful holiday. Thank you.

Escape proof garden is very important with dogs, and my spaniel found two exits, and ended up running through an adjoining field. Luckily she won't go far from me and her recall is good, but could be a problem for others. Also the track to the property is an unmade track. You have to chose your pathway very carefully, often hitting the bottom oRead moref your vehicle Hide

We found the cottage very difficult to locate on the first day and eventually the owners had to help us locate the property in the dark. The cottage is neutrally furnished and has a big galley style kitchen with cupboards containing gadgets such as an air fryer and plenty of kitchen equipment except there is no freezer which means you cannot store Read moreice cream or ice cubes. Both bedrooms are small and moderately furnished, the first bedroom has a roof window and storage drawers under the bed and the larger one has a wardrobe. Breathtaking views on to the surrounding fields and peaceful despite the local farmer using a bird scarcer. Our only complaints about the cottage are the lack of freezer and the poor signage at the end of the lane identifying its location. It is a perfect location for exploring the county as it is close to the coast and towns such as Beccles and Southwold and there is a garden center over the road which is very good value for money. The owners dealt with questions or problems quickly including light bulbs and gave us the location of the nearest fish and chip shop on our arrival. It would be wise to bring a torch or lantern with you as the lane leading up to the cottage and beyond is unlit. Hide

Very welcoming cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for dogs as the garden is all fenced in. Perfectly situated for discovering Suffolk and Norfolk.

We received a warm welcome . The accommodation is brilliantly located to explore the river waveney or the nearby dog friendly beaches. It feels a bit of a work in progress. We had pegs but nowhere to peg wet swim stuff. A clothesmade would be handy. The single bedroom consisted of a bed- that's it . A shelf (as not much room for bedside table) Read moremaybe a lamp, with nowhere to put clothes. We has a thoughtful welcome hamper, crisps , biscuits, pear juice and fresh (?) Coffee but not cafetiere or percolator to try it. Having said all that, we enjoyed our break, and the dogs appreciated the enclosed garden with walks from the door. Hide
