This gorgeous holiday home in the heart of Norfolk’s countryside offers serene accommodation for groups of up to six, and two dogs. It’s located on the site of an old Benedictine Priory, on the outskirts of Outwell village where you’ll find pet-friendly pubs and a shop. The property is part of a small complex of barns, surrounded by an acre of private land shared with neighbouring cottages and with plenty of space for walking with your four-pawed friend.
Inside this lovely accommodation, the open-plan living space is bathed in natural light, creating a warm and inviting space to relax with your pets and loved ones. Elegant wood and raw brickwork make for an appealing aesthetic. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep, while the dining area sets you up for leisurely meals together. Thanks to bi-fold doors, you can create an indoor/outdoor living experience your pets will love (weather permitting!). Upstairs you’ll find two calming, thoughtfully decorated king rooms and a twin. One of the king rooms has it’s own en-suite shower room, while the family bathroom offers a beautiful roll-top bath for lazy evening relaxation. And if that weather stays good, sizzle up a tasty BBQ in the private courtyard, with some extra sausages thrown on for your four-pawed companions, then enjoy an indulgent soak in the hot tub before bed.
The rural setting is ideal for nature-loving dogs, and you can try and catch fish in Well Creek. Nearby you can wander around Downham Market (6 miles) where you’ll find more pubs and some restaurants. Further afield, the historic towns of Kings Lynn (16.5 miles) and Ely (19 miles) both have much to offer the curious visitor. You’re welcome to visit Ely Cathedral with your pets on leads, or you can take a boat trip along the Great Ouse River.
