This dog-friendly holiday home is located within a gorgeous 18th-century estate, providing an ideal retreat for pet owners. The grounds include landscaped grounds, a serene boating lake and a charming walled garden – perfect for leisurely walks with your four-pawed friend. At the nearby village of Itteringham (2.5 miles), you’ll find a country pub where dogs are welcome, along with a village shop for picking up supplies.

You’ll love the beautifully styled interiors of this period property, which boasts a relaxing view of parkland and woods. The entrance hall is perfect for brushing off muddy paws and removing walking boots after a day's adventure. When it’s time to cosy up, head into one of the living areas – a lounge and a snug – both with open fires so you can keep man and dog warm. The kitchen and dining area provide ample space for preparing group meals and plates for the dogs. Completing the downstairs layout in a lovely single bedroom. Up on the first floor there are two king bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite with a roll-top bath. The second king room has a door to the Jack and Jill family bathroom. Need to work whilst you’re away? There’s also a study up here which, just like the rest of the house, is stylish and serene. In the surrounding area, the market towns of Aylsham and Holt (5 miles and 8 miles) both offer excellent shopping and restaurants. At Holt, board the North Norfolk Railway for a steam ride through pretty scenery to Weybourne, a seaside village with a dog-friendly beach. Or you can stay on the service and alight at Sheringham, a traditional seaside town with a pier and a promenade. Additionally, the Norfolk Broads, including Wroxham and Stalham (17.5 miles), are great destinations for dog-friendly boating.
