From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home in Swallowtail Cottage. The welcome tray was a really lovely and appreciated touch. The location of the cottage was absolutely perfect for us, equal distance one way to the dunes and the other, a choice of fantastic eateries - Poppy's for breakfasts, Winterton Fish and Chips (probably the bRead moreest fish and chips I have had all year), and the Fisherman's Return pub. We really were spoiled for choice. The cottage is very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Across the week, we had 5 adults and 2 dogs who all enjoyed the suntrap garden, the chance to spread out across the living room diner, and had ample private spaces on other floors. Winterton is such a lovely place - the dog friendly sandy beach is a big attraction for me (and the dogs), we saw seals and we swam, and got caught in typical English weather. A truly wonderful week spent at Swallowtail, thank you for letting out this holiday home. We will be back! Hide
