I had a bloodstain on the bed which was not cleaned for 2 days and I had to keep calling to resolve the issue. After writing complaints I have still not heard back from anyone. It took ages to get into the property and the neighbour eventually helped us to get in after standing around outside for nearly an hour. We went back and filter with the ageRead morency standing in the rain and they could not tell us when someone would arrive to let us in. Thank goodness for the neighbour who said everyone had the same problem. It is difficult to get into the property. You have to put one hand through the letterbox, wiggle the key whilst pulling the door towards you and I feel into the property entry time, hurting my foot. The shower was blocked, but they did come to fix it. The water doesnt run out quickly so you have to wait to wash off your feet when the water goes down. The garden wasnt clean, after making a complaint someone came to clean it. Hide

It was lovely. Very clean and showed a lot of love for the property and therefore the guests. The welcome gift was much appreciated and only wished we had a dog to give the treats to!

The front door leads directly onto a very busy road. This makes loading and unloading stressful. The car park within walking distance is expensive

This is a very well-equipped and comfortable little cottage. The location is straight out onto a very busy road and although it is very close to the centre of Rye, the road is difficult to cross and very noisy. And parking outside to unload was a bit worrying! The only thing that needs to be updated was the small outside seating area, as the table Read moreand chairs were broken and dirty. This was at odds with the lovely interior. response from holidaycottages.co.uk Thank you for your review. We can confirm that this issue has now been resolved. Hide
