Get your best feet (and paws) forward and explore the inspiring Jurassic Coast with your pups by your side. This quaint cottage – ideal for one or two couples, or small families - is perfectly placed for energetic hikes and gentle strolls, and when you return from an exhilarating day out of walkies galore you can soak in the bath, dine in the garden or relax by the warming wood burner.
This terraced stone cottage is full of character, including ceiling beams, exposed brick and timber flooring, with steps up and down inside adding to the sense of history. In the open-plan lounge/diner you can linger over supper at the table in front of the wood burner, curl up on the sofa with a book from the shelves or switch on the Smart TV to stream a favourite show. The cute kitchen has a deep butler’s sink and all the facilities you’ll need for putting together yummy meals, while beyond it is the downstairs bathroom. At bedtime, say goodnight to your hounds and head upstairs, where there are two charming double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. When your canine companions want to sniff around in the fresh air, there’s a small front garden with a bench where you can sit and watch the world go by, and a tiered back garden with a bistro dining table for al fresco drinks and dining.
The cottage is located in the village of Langton Herring, less than 1.5 miles from the iconic Chesil Beach, where your mutts are welcome all year round. Beautiful countryside surrounds the property, and there are plenty of exciting days out nearby, too, including Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens (mutts on leads allowed), 5 miles, or a trip to the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis, 24.5 miles.
