Sitting within 23 acres of pasture and woodland, with riverside and lakeside walks from the door, this converted barn makes the perfect backdrop for a family getaway with your canine companions. There are seven bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and a firepit, BBQ and hot tub in the garden.
The cottage has been tastefully decorated with elegant furniture and makes a comfy, welcoming retreat. Spend time in the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, gather for drinks with the wood burner flickering, watch the Smart TV, and make lasting memories over meals at the dining table cooked in the kitchen designed for large groups. You’ll find a smaller kitchen/diner and a lounge with a Smart TV in the cottage. There are two ground floor bedrooms, a double and a family room with bunkbeds and a double bed, as well as a cloakroom and a wet room. Upstairs are five more bedrooms, four twins and a double, and two further bathrooms. Get the BBQ going, hang out under the stars around the fire pit and relax in the hot tub in the fenced/hedged garden while the kids and pups let off steam on the lawn. Laze in a hammock with a good book while the youngsters have fun on the rope swing, campus climbing board and gymnastic rings in the grounds.
Take the four-legged friends with you to explore the woodlands, go for a swim in the lake or river, head to Preseli Hills where there are walks for all ages and abilities. Keen walkers will want to hike up Foel Cwmcerwyn (15 miles), the highest mountain in the area, with incredible views on a clear day. Head to Cardigan (11.5 miles) on the coast where you’ll be spoilt for choice for beautiful beaches to visit.
