A lovely cottage, perfect for a weekend getaway. Easy access to the coast, and to the wider Norfolk countryside try side. It is located near a main road, however, it's not busy overnight, we had no problems sleeping, even with the windows open.

We cant fault Callisto Cottage, we arrived to a lovely, warm and clean house which was equipped with everything you would need for a nice break away. All in all a very convenient and pleasant cottage, with most of the things you need for a comfortable stay. It is very handy for visiting all of North Norfolk and surrounding areas, and it was great to have the Chinese next door, and The Crown in East Rudham only a 15 minute walk away, which is a fabulous pub with great food. Great location for exploring north Norfolk, cottage nicely furnished and very clean. Didn't try the pub next door as it was closed for the week, but the Crown Inn in East Rudham served good food and you can walk the back road there to avoid going along the main road. Cottage is lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. It is on a main road so not tranquil peace and quite in the garden but noise levels are fairly low so doesn't affect too much inside the cottage. Great situation to explore the North Norfolk coast. Sympathetically restored and improved cottage, the kitchen is great, and the Bathroom is ideal if you like a big bath! Lounge a bit spartan could do with cushions, we used pillows. Note that the Tv is fully internet based, so if the internet goes down , as it did with us, you've no terrestial chaRead morennels either. There is a lot of traffic noise, it's on a main road, but you quickly get used to it,and my wife said she missed it when we got home! Very handy for petrol and shops at Fakenham, pub next door is more of a Chinese restraint and take away but it has a small bar. Another pub a mile or so away. Contrary to the description there is not a shop nearby, but it's not a problem. I would reccomend this property, as it's ideal for the great villages along the North coast road. Hide

This is a nice, spacious cottage, which we immediately felt at home in despite arriving after dark and would consider staying at again. Although on a main road that did not concern us as it provides access to anywhere from Kings Lynn to Cromer within about 30 minutes on roads that were generally good to drive on. The Dukes Head a few metres away isRead more a quiet pub serving very nice chinese food and convenient for a night out or two without driving. The kitchen is a very good size as are all the rooms. The dishwasher was not working when we were there, so needs repair. Also the odd small improvement would be helpful such as colander, sieve and pizza tray in the kitchen and a couple of cushions on the settee. We couldn't get up the terrestrial TV channels and guide so had to watch the likes of BBC through the iplayer app if we wanted it on which was slightly irritating. On balance though a good property.
