This spacious four-person lodge in Pembrokeshire is tucked away on a peaceful holiday site and surrounded by grass and trees, offering relaxing accommodation for pet owners. It’s around 1 mile out of Narberth, a pretty market town with shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries. Stay at this four-bed property with family or friends for a memorable trip just 10 miles from the bustling seaside resort of Tenby (10.5 miles), which is wonderful for a day trip with your pets.

With generous proportions, this stylish lodge features a huge open-plan living area with triple-aspect windows letting plenty of daylight in. A light colour scheme contributes to the airy atmosphere. Whether you’re lounging on the sofa with your pets at your feet, or preparing something yummy in the contemporary kitchen, you’re sure to appreciate this welcoming space. The living areas are carpeted, meaning every inch of floor is suitable for doggie naps. Outside, a wrap-around terrace presents the perfect spot for taking in your peaceful surroundings and tucking into al fresco meals using the furniture provided.

There’s plenty to do nearby, with a number of excellent walking trails starting at Blackpool Bridge (2.5 miles), which marks the start of the scenic Cleddau Estuary. Any children in your party will love to visit Oakwood Theme Park (3 miles), which provides dog kennels. You’ll be 7.5 miles from the sea at Saundersfoot and 7 from Amroth, where there are some dog restrictions in summer. For restriction-free frolics, head to Glen Beach (7.5 miles), which you can easily access from Saundersfoot Harbour via a zig-zag path.

Had a lovely long weekend here (2 adults, 1 child, 2 dogs), great with the dogs as the patio is well enclosed and there is a private enclosed dog field you can hire online 2 min drive down the road. Cottage is clean, well equipped, plenty of space and really peaceful/private.

Very quiet, very dark, walkable to Narbeth but with care. Gets warm quickly. Beautiful shower room.

Very comfortable well equipped lodge. Peaceful quiet location. Lots of interesting places to visit. Would recommend this property to everyone.

The Sycamores at Herons Brook is a true retreat set amongst beautiful Welsh countryside with a stream running past the decking. The lodge is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed including a lovely cosy bed. Our dog George loved the surroundings and great walks on the doorstep. We look forward to returning.
