Such a pretty house and such a pretty garden. Garden was so good for our dog who is a bit of an escape artist, it was very secure, we had great fun playing with her as there was so much space. Very private. Comfy king size bed and sitting room furniture...and I haven't seen such a big bath in years! Very comfortable cottage exactly as described. Lots of interest in the area but we didn't find it a good area for cycling due to narrow & busy roads. Dennington Queen very good.

We had a great holiday at this lovely, well equipped cottage with our dog. It's in a nice, quiet location, with walks from the door, yet just as easy to jump in the car to venture further afield. The local pub (The Dennington Queen) is dog friendly and does great food, but would recommend booking, as it's very popular. The local cafe (The NeathouseRead more) is also worth a viisit, as the cakes are amazing! Both are easily walkable from the cottage, especially if you take the shortcut across the fields (search OS map routes for the Dennington Stroll). There are plenty of suggestions for places to visit, restaurants etc in the ample information provided at the cottage. If you like character cottages, walking, pubs and cafes then we'd highly recommend this as a great place to stay! Hide

We had a lovely week at the cottage. It was a heatwave, so we spent every evening in the garden. All you could hear were the birds and the odd Apple falling from the tree. Yes the garden needs quite a bit of work, but the insects seemed to appreciate it. Above the cottage is the best night sky I think I have ever seen. A great location to explore SRead moreuffolk. Super comfy beds and a great bathroom & kitchen. We could have stayed forever. We will hopefully return again. Hide

We loved this cottage, the location was great. We drove to Framlingham, and to Aldeburgh which is one of our favourite places. Box cottage is a lovely place to relax. Its all very comfortable, I would however note that the single beds seemed smaller than a standard single. Would throughly recommend. Oh, and we also arrived to some local bread, a cake, and a pint of milk, which was appreciated :) Hide

The property is located about 10-15 minute walk from the village but it was very clean and well appointed. The garden did need some work as grass and weeds were growing around the outside furniture. The property is old so bear in mind the bathroom is on the ground floor should you need it in the night.
