During your stay, be sure to head down the funicular railway towards Lynmouth, Lynton’s sister town, to wander around the harbour and tuck into a slap-up meal in one of many eateries. Beachgoers will love the pristine sands of Woolacombe (19 miles), which are dog-friendly all year round.
