We absolutely loved this farmhouse both adults and children alike. The owner Nikki was fabulous and couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. We loved seeing the horses in the field from almost every window in the house. It was lovely meeting Mabel the friendly dog and Tom the goat. Only about 5 miles from the sea and some lovely local shops I.Read moree butchers and farm shops. Perkins the butchers sells amazing quality meat and has been in business for almost 150 years. Sad to leave especially before one of the mares gave birth to her foal. Hide

Well on arrival we hadn't realised the proximity to the stud farm . How lovely to beable to watch the horses coming in and out and grazing in the field. The welcome hamper was also a very lovely surprise and much appreciated. The beauty of having such pure and natural products on your doorstep was great ... thankyou

It's okay for a quiet holiday, however the weather spoilt it for us. We still went out every day and made the most of it. No local chip shops ect you have to travel to Bude.

The cottage is well appointed and the welcome pack was lovely. I have to say the mattresses could do with improving, we could feel the springs through the sheet, a mattress topper might be a good idea.
