This delightful cottage is located in the North Devon countryside, where guests can enjoy picturesque and peaceful walks through the 20 acre fields including an enchanting ancient woodland. Whether you’re exploring by foot or bicycle there are great options nearby. Umberleigh train station (1.8 miles) has good connections to Barnstaple and Exeter for a range of shopping. The Tarka Trail has 180 miles of off-road cycling with views of the sea and places to stop for refreshments. For something special, treat yourself to a spa day at Northcote Manor, only 4 miles away. In addition, guests can enjoy other fun days out including many National Trust properties, RHS Rosemoor (10 miles) set in 100 acres of woodland, or Dartington Crystal (9 miles), where you can see traditional glass blowing in action or have a go at some of the creative activities on offer. North Devon has stunning blue flag award-winning Beaches which include Westward-Ho! (15 miles), Saunton Sands (16 miles), Croyde (20 miles) and Woolacombe (24 miles), which are all great for swimming and surfing.

We are the first guests to stay in The Threshing Barn. the accommodation, it has been done to a very high standard. We have had a lovely holiday. Lovely part of Devon with lots to do. Our dog Bear has had a great time. Thank you.
