Stride out on long dog walks along the picturesque Ceredigion Coast Path and look out over the beautiful bay to see if you can spot dolphins and seals. This three-bedroom holiday home in Aberaeron, West Wales, is perfect for pups and people who love nothing more than nature walks and days out by the sea. Sleeping six guests, it looks out over the harbour and has an enclosed courtyard garden where you and your happy hound can soak up the sea air.

Take a few steps up to the front door and enter the coastal villa with your four-legged friend padding behind. Stroll into the lounge to lay a fire in the wood burner on autumn and winter days and to unwind in its cosy heat. Watch the Smart TV in here while your paw-some pal enjoys some puppy time along with a much-deserved rest. Take him through to the kitchen when mealtimes beckon to serve him something tasty for his dinner and to whip a couple of delicious dishes up for everyone else too. At the end of each fun-filled day, take him over to his bed then head up to the first floor of the property where yours is located. These include two doubles and a bunk bedroom. Make the most of the courtyard garden on fine days to sit out with a drink or a cup of coffee, and your contented canine at your feet, and simply enjoy the slower pace of holiday life and your quality time together.

Pick up the dog lead and amble 0.5 miles through the town from your retreat down to Aberaeron’s South Beach, which is dog-friendly all year round. Have a day out to picture-postcard New Quay, 7.5 miles away, where pups can play on the North Beach and at Dolau.

This property was very well supplied with everything we needed and different ways of cooking food. It is ideally situated for trips out or doing the coastal path from Cardigan to Aberystwyth. It is quiet but has easy access to the town where the shops/bar and people are so friendly and helpful. The garden to is well catered for with comfy gardenRead more chairs and cushions. We absolutely loved this house on the harbour! The perfect country town house with original features, modern necessities and cosy spaceous living. And what a view across the water to the sea and the colourful buildings around the town. A simply magical setting with easy walking to town and the sea. It was comfortable too with quality mattresses andRead more plenty of squishy chairs and woolen blankets to cosy up in or enjoy the views. Free on street car parking was surprisingly easy round the corner to the left of the row of houses but maybe we just got lucky. Our 5 year old was excited for the bunk beds and enjoyed how many rooms there were to circle through. We will come and stay again! Hide

For us, the location made it a great holiday. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning and see harbour and the changing tides. Aberaeron is a charming town with many good places to eat. Fortunately, the sea defence work has been rececently completed.

We had a lovely holiday and cottage had everything we needed. Aberaeron is a great place to stay . We were unable to access South Beach as it was closed as was access to the harbour due to coastal works. However, we still greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house .
