The delightful cottage enjoys a peaceful location in the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, set back from its bustling quayside and shopping areas. Sleeping six guests and one hound, the cottage is perfect for large families and groups of friends. You’ll be close to some of Norfolk’s finest, paw-friendly beaches, including Wells-next-the-Sea (1 mile) and Brancaster (10 miles). Nearby doggy days out include Norfolk Lavender and Sandringham Estate (both within 20 miles).

The period property is warm and welcoming, with a collection of colourful soft furnishings and homely accessories set alongside period features. Enter the cottage into the inviting lounge, with comfortable sofas to stretch out on after a long walk and a wood burner creating a cosy dozing spot for Rover. The lounge leads through to a bright and airy kitchen/diner, for rustling up tasty feasts and dining together as a group. With direct access to the garden, this is the ideal place to set up the dog bed. The three bedrooms and family bathroom are upstairs. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed courtyard garden – this space is a real suntrap and lends itself to al fresco dining. There’s also a handy outbuilding housing a utility room and WC.

The property is just 1 mile from Wells-next-the-Sea’s sandy beach, which is known for its row of colourful beach huts. Apart from a small restriction on the first section of beach (and near nesting birds), the vast stretch of sand is woof friendly all year. Heading inland, you’ll find some fascinating towns and villages to explore, including Holt (13 miles), with its spectacular Georgian architecture and plethora of independent shops and eateries. Here, you and your furry sidekick can board the steam train for a memorable journey through the countryside to the seaside resort of Sheringham.

Very nicely refurbished house, made into a lovely home. It's very well appointed and equipped. It's in a great location, very close to the historic centre of Wells-next-the-sea.
