Leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape with your whole pack and four-legged friend to this traditional Welsh cottage. Nestled a stick’s throw from the beautiful golden sands of Broad Haven Beach, this is the perfect base for coastal explorers with a nose for adventure.
After a long walkies, there’s no better remedy for soothing weary walking muscles than the inviting warmth of the roaring electric wood-burner effect fire in the cosy lounge. Flop down on the comfy sofa as your four-legged friend curls up on the plush rug at your feet. Leave your pup to doze and lead the way into the snug room before collaring the pack around the dining table for the ultimate family games night with treats that the cook has prepared in the adjoining kitchen. As the cooler evening air settles, keep toes and paws toasty by firing up the open fire before retiring upstairs to either the double or twin bedroom for a well-deserved rest before tomorrow’s adventure. Playful pups will go mutts sniffing around the enclosed front lawn whilst you dine alfresco on the decked terrace.
The small village of Broad Haven has been renowned as a traditional seaside resort since the 1800s. Treat your pup to an afternoon bounding along the golden sand and sniffing around the rock pools at Broad Haven Beach less than half a mile away (seasonal restrictions apply). At low tide, you can enjoy a long walkies from Broad Haven to Little Haven along the beach past a bay called The Settlands. With direct access from the village, find plenty of sticks to fetch along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with the south direction taking you to St Brides Haven via Little Haven or head north to discover Newgale, past Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven.
