While away many happy hours looking across the estuary from this beautifully finished group holiday home in Instow and ensure your paw-fect pet can be there with you. This sizeable, dog-friendly Devon retreat sleeps 18 guests across nine bedrooms and comes with a hot tub for people to unwind in and a beautiful, lawned garden for pups to play in.

Usher your happy hound through the hall and into the impressive lounge/kitchen/diner with you. Prepare hearty feasts for all your fellow party members in here, including those with four legs, then relax, play games, watch the Smart TV and enjoy spending time with all your nearest and dearest. Pull the doors open on warm days and dine together at the table. There is also a second lounge, with another TV and a wood burner, and a snug for you and your contented canine to share a little quiet time together. Also downstairs are a WC and family shower room. Give your pal a last pat before bed (sorry no pups upstairs) then head upstairs to find the bedrooms. Across the first and second floors, there are five king-size bedrooms and two twins. There are also two en-suite shower rooms and two family bathrooms. In addition, this property has an annexe, with its own open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, plus a family bathroom, king-size bedroom and double. Savour the glorious outside space at this exquisite house, where your pup can be nearby while you bask in the sunshine, dine out in the fresh air and unwind in the hot tub.

Stroll down to the beach at Instow, where there are sections that pups can enjoy all year round. Take a trip on the ferry over to Appledore during the summer months, with your pal as a passenger too. Westward Ho! Beach, 5 miles away, also has dog-friendly areas.

Armada House is a great House very well equipped and lots of space for our family of 17, very well placed in a gorgeous village.

An impressive building with plenty of rooms to keep all ages entertained and a wonderful position on the seafront

We were a two family group staying. The house is beautiful and very well laid out over three floors. Everything you would need to self-cater is there, enough fridge freezer space for storage and an excellent range cooker. The furniture was really comfortable and really well thought out, for example an outside table at the rear for the morning sun aRead morend table and chairs out the front for the afternoon and evening sun (just wish the weather had behaved). A massive dining area with all the necessary crockery and cutlery to match. The parking was as described, ie six cars but it was a squeeze even with two Ford Fiestas. The only alternative would have been a difficult park nearby, in terms of busy road with restrictions which could be a nuisance. Had a couple of teething issues but they were dealt with superbly by a lady called Michelle from the property management company. Really very professional in every aspect and made it all very easy. Great location right opposite the beach and right next door to a very decent pub. We all had a very good meal in there and would recommend it. Would I stay again? - 100% Hide

Great property in a fabulous location. We were very lucky with the weather which added to our enjoyment but would highly recommend for any family holiday. We very much hope to return in the future.

A stunning house in a great location, great thought has gone into the styling and fitting out and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen and dining area are perfect for a large get together with friends and family. The house is located directly opposite the beach - great for walks (especially if you have brought doRead moregs!). There is a handy shower by the front door which is very useful to shower sand off doggy paws. A note on dogs: note that dogs are only permitted in the non-carpeted areas of the house, which excludes the main house bedrooms and lounge. Hide

This property is simply stunning and very well equipped. The layout was perfect for our family (all 18 people and 3 dogs had an amazing week). The location was perfect for us, the dogs were free to run along the beach together, and there were plenty of places locally to visit. One thing to note though, the website says dog friendly for up to 3 Read moredogs but does not mention the restrictions. On arrival we read the visitors book to find out the dogs were not allowed upstairs or in the carpeted rooms downstairs. This caused inconvenience because 2 of the dogs are used to sleeping in the same room as their owners. This information would have been useful to know from the website, prior to booking as we could have better prepared for where the dogs would sleep. Hide
