Lovely spacious house. Very clean and comfortable as you would expect. Set at the nicer harbour end of town and just a few minutes walk from boutiques and coffee shops. Bbq only currently small kettle bbq, not as shown in pictures. Bring own cafetiere if you use ground coffee. Beds are not ziplock and cannot be made into singles. Response from holiRead moredaycottages.co.uk - Thank you for your review. The gas BBQ is kept out of the weather in low season whereas the charcoal one can stay outside Hide

Perfect weekend away! The house is just perfect; great location we didnt use our cars all weekend and could walk everywhere we needed to go. The house is such a great size, we were a family of 7 and the kitchen was such a sociable space. The house was spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you could think of - highly recommend

A stunning property that offers space, facilities and all mod cons within easy distance of the town centre. It was perfect for four couples with lots of communal space but plenty of quiet corners to hide away. We would definitely consider booking again.

The house is really good, great location and with parking. It is let down by small things like no shower gel. I have never experienced this in a 5 star property.

A very comfortable house, well equipped and excellent for a three generation family like ours. It is very near the harbour and the high street. We particularly appreciated the attractive art works which are everywhere in the house and the office was most useful for one of our number who had to work online for part of the week.

Our visit to the Harbour Retreat was very good.A beautifully decorated house and well equipped.Comfortable beds and plenty of space for us as a group.Well situated for Whitstable town. Just a shame we had no heating for two days due to a malfunction with the thermostat. Unfortunately not fixed until the evening before we left.

This is a lovely high spec house in a brilliant location. Everything is new and stylish. We needed a ground floor bathroom and bedroom for our mum and this was perfect. Then the four bedrooms upstairs were really comfy. There was also the added bonus of a large office which my husband used to do some work each morning.
