The open-plan kitchen/diner is the heart of this luxurious holiday home: with four ovens, two fridges and two dishwashers, the equipment will delight any cook, and the long dining table is perfect for sociable gatherings. After supper you could relax and do nothing by the wood burner in the snug, watch a film on the Smart TV in the movie room, soak in the sauna, get competitive in the games room or head up to the library on the landing to find a good book. Of the seven beautifully decorated bedrooms, all boasting high-quality mattresses, three are super-king-size while the others can be either super-king-size or made up as twins on request. No worries about sharing, as six have en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms, and there’s also a separate family bathroom. The impressive outside space includes a tennis court, a salt-water swimming pool (heated from April to October) and a tucked-away, wood-fired hot tub in which up to ten people can enjoy the bubbles. Dine on the patio, play on the lawn and explore the extensive gardens and the 2km farm walk, accessed just down the lane, where you may spot deer, buzzards and more.
From this central location you can reach many of Cornwall’s most famous attractions, including the Eden Project, 19 miles, where your pups can explore miles of outdoor paths. The coast is less than 15 miles away: don’t miss the lovely East and West Looe, the little gem of Polperro and gorgeous Talland Bay.
