Whether you are a family or a small group of friends, this stylish cottage will feel like a home from home, full of art and accessories, with all mod cons and beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Your four-pawed friends will love its enclosed garden, and when you step outside you’ll be in the heart of picturesque Beer, with its beach, shops and places to eat.
Carefully refurbished, this historic property is full of delightful original features as well as appealing furnishings, both contemporary and vintage. Leave your walking boots and leads in the porch and head into the welcoming lounge, where a corner sofa and armchairs are ready for you to snuggle up in front of the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen/diner is another delightful space where you can linger after a meal (and its stone-flagged floor is perfect for setting down your canine companions’ food bowls). Also on this floor are a shower room and a utility room with laundry facilities. With pale walls and floors, and pretty linens, the bedrooms are designed for a restful night’s sleep. All three are on the first floor - a king-size, a twin and a super-king-size (which can be a twin on request) - along with a charming family bathroom. At the back of the house, steps leads up to the patio, where you can dine al fresco, making use of the gas BBQ if you wish.
The postcard-pretty village of Beer is on the Jurassic coast and part of the England’s first natural World Heritage site. The village boasts intriguing shops and galleries and some great places to eat. Your puppers can run freely on the eastern half of Beer’s shingle beach all year, and they’re also welcome (on leads) on the fascinating tours of the 2,000-year-old Beer Quarry Caves.
