Escape the hustle and bustle of the daily grind at this gorgeous 18th century former-fisherman’s cottage in the beautiful town of Ilfracombe. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, this traditional three-storey home is the perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who are yearning for a traditional seaside break on the North Devon coast. During the day, take your pups for walkies along Ilfracombe Harbour; and in the evening come home to unwind on the cottage’s quaint patio while you wait for the stars to come out.
Step inside and you''ll be greeted by a homely open-plan kitchen/dining area boasting an impressive exposed beam ceiling, which adds character and charm to the space. Climb the stairs to the first floor and take a moment to make yourself at home in the cosy lounge, which showcases wonderful harbour views. When it’s time to eat, head back to the kitchen, rustle up some dinner for you loved ones and then host a sociable dinner in the chic dining area. After dinner, head to the quaint patio to the front of the property to enjoy a glass of wine. Alternatively, stretch out in front of your favourite TV show in the living area while your pups snooze by your feet. At the end of the day, there are two charming bedrooms waiting for you on the third floor - one double and one twin. Mizpah is a traditional fisherman’s cottage, and as such has narrow cottage stairs, making it unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. The cottage is set into the cliffs, and so has no rear garden but rather offers a small outside seating area to the front.
Parking is sometimes available on the street, or in the conveniently located public car park just steps from the cottage, Ropery Car park
