Lovely big garden for the dogs to play. Lots of dog walks. Beautiful location. The village of Beer is superb with good facilities and bus service. We were very happy here. The cottage is on a steep hill, hence I do not recommend for those with mobility problems.

Excellent cottage: perfectly located and beautifully clean. Great vista from the front. Drive tricky to manoeuvre in but not really an issue when there is so much to do without a car.

A lovely comfortable and peaceful cottage. Nicely set among the trees and away from any main roads with nice views out over Beer. It was well placed for our weekend of beach and coastal walks and generally exploring Beer and the surrounding area.

Such a lovely modern and spacious property. We visit Beer frequently and this was one of our favourites. The heating had been on which was very welcome as we arrived quite late and there was milk, tea bags and biscuits left. The property is a short stroll into the centre of Beer which is a bit hilly but we found it absolutely fine. The property wasRead more very well equipped and the beds comfortable. I've read other people complaining that there is a tree blocking the sea view so we knew about that and weren't disappointed. You can still see the sea from the kitchen window and even with the tree gone there's a house in the way anyway. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in Beer Hide

* Cottage does NOT have a dog-proof garden this is what we expected when we chose a dog-friendly cottage with enclosed garden. The resulting stress ruined our holiday. * Gravel path between parking spot and the cottage steps was 70 metres in length, had a slope and an awkward camber. * Very difficult to turn a car around on the property (unsafeRead more to reverse out of property) * Minimal cleaning equipment (no dustpan & brush, bin bags, bathroom cleaning materials etc). * No food waste bin (as required by local regulations). * Sea can only be seen if you crane your neck. * Owner did not have proper control of Netflix - previous guest had used own code and Hungarian language rather than Guest settings. * On arrival there was no DVD (as advertised). * Poor TV reception it was often not possible to get pictures on Freeview.
