Situated on a working farm, this charming 100-year-old cottage in Cornwall has a large, shared garden with a pond and stream running through it. Soak up superb views and enjoy some peace and tranquillity at this ideal holiday home for six adventurers and two canine companions.

Grand and characterful, this home has traditional features such as flagstone floors, high ceilings, and exposed stonework walls. Cook up tasty meals in the large farmhouse kitchen which has an Aga and a table for all guests to sit around. Warm up your paws in front of the wood burner in the lounge, also home to a piano that can provide evening entertainment for the musical kind. Store your walking boots and dogs’ gear in the handy utility room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, a super-king, a super-king zip-and-link, and a double zip-and-link, along with a family bathroom and a separate WC. The outside space is the real jewel in this property’s crown with plenty of space to enjoy lawn games as the dogs sniff about, or head down to the pond (100 metres) which has a little boat and a stream which is great for paddling in.

You will have fabulous surrounding views of Bodmin Moor and Caradon Hill, so head off on foot and paw to explore the countryside walks leading from the doorstep. Dogs can roam free through most of Bodmin Moor (12 miles), which offers up some of the most dramatic landscapes and views in the country. Alternatively, let the sea breeze run through your fur at the pretty villages of Looe (16 miles) or Polperro (21 miles).

Beautiful traditional farmhouse with stunning views, a real home from home. Perfect location for exploring both the north and south coast of Cornwall. We really enjoyed our stay and our host was really lovely and helpful.
