Introduce your hound to holiday heaven when you stay at this exquisite cottage in North Norfolk. Sleeping four guests, the delightful, two-bedroom, brick and flint retreat is situated in Southrepps, where it enjoys the most beautiful, lawned garden for your pup to play in. Close to scenic footpaths, including Paston Way and Weavers’ Way, it is also close to the spectacular North Norfolk coast.

Step inside with your paw-fect pal to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/diner, with a characterful Norfolk pamment floor and a wood burner to fire up after brisk autumn and winter walks. Spend cosy evenings together here, watching the Smart TV as your chum daydreams about his latest doggy adventures and dining at the table. Find your way through to the equally charming kitchen/dining when it is time to prepare meals. Feed your four-legged friend and rustle up tasty snacks and dishes for the rest of your party. Open the French doors on to the garden on fine days so your pet can wander outside. Also downstairs is a shower room. Settle your pal downstairs for the night before heading up the cottage-style stairs to lay your own head on your pillow. There is a king-size bedroom and a twin, which are both as carefully finished as the rest of the house, together with a family bathroom with a freestanding bath. Relax over a cup of coffee or glass of wine out in the courtyard with your canine companion at your feet or take him through to the main garden where you can throw a ball for him.

Venture 2 miles to the dog-friendly beach at Trimingham. The beach at Bacton, 6 miles away, is also a great option for pups all year round, and there are lovely, leafy woods to explore close to Bacton too.

This cottage was lovely, we stayed for the week working away from home for a few days leading up to a holiday for the rest of the week. The cottage was well equipped and perfect for the two of us and our dog. The garden was fully enclosed and really well looked after. The village was lovely and quiet with a fab pub next door. A lovely character cottage in a great location. Perfect enclosed garden for the dog. I would definitely recommend staying here for great relaxing holiday and the village pub nearby is the icing on the cake!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village, great walking on the doorstep. Good sized enclosed garden, wood burner, well equipped and a very decent pub a stones throw away, what more do you need?
