Return from long walks across the scenic Norfolk countryside with Rex to relax at this stylish lodge. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom eco-friendly holiday home is a paws-down winner with pups and people who enjoy being out and about in the fresh air. Taking in views out over the verdant surroundings, the single-storey retreat, offers chic, comfortable accommodation within superb places to stretch Rex’s legs, including the long-distance Marriot’s Way footpath and the Norfolk Broads.
Make your way into the enticing abode, set on a working farm, to discover it provides living space that is filled with natural light. At its heart is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can prepare Rex’s meals, along with everyone else’s, and where the rest of the party can dine and enjoy some downtime together in front of the Smart TV. Open the door on to the patio on sunny days so Rex can step outside or absorb the views from the comfort of the interior. When day turns to night, bid your best furry friend goodnight then head off to either the king-size or the twin bedroom, each of which enjoys the luxury of an en-suite shower room. Spend balmy evenings relaxing on the patio with a glass of chilled wine in your hand as you show Rex some well-earned puppy love.
Take Rex on long walks from the front door of the lodge. There is a path from the farm down to the 26-mile Marriot’s Way route which runs between Aylsham and Norwich. Plan an excursion to the National Trust’s historic Blickling Hall, 11 miles from your base, and where happy hounds can accompany their owners through the splendid parkland grounds. Visit the Norfolk Broads, 10 miles away, where you and Rex can follow footpaths or enjoy the waterways from a hired boat.
