This romantic, rural retreat is in the quaint Welsh village of Cynwyl Elfed. The property is surrounded by open countryside, providing endless dog walks through the Teifi Valley. The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is 6 miles away, and the rugged Pembrokeshire coast, with its dramatic clifftop paths and sandy beaches, is within 15 miles. The property’s outdoor space is fully enclosed, and there are also exercise areas for dogs within the owner’s grounds.
The single-storey barn conversion is set on a family farm/smallholding. Enter into the hallway, where you can store your walking boots and dog lead, and head into the open-plan, contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner. The sleek kitchen area has everything you need to whip up a hearty meal after a long dog walk, and there’s a choice of dining areas at the breakfast bar or the table by the patio doors. After dinner, stretch out on the corner sofa infront of the log burner to watch the Smart TV or read a book. When day turns to night, retire to the elegant double bedroom (reached via a step) for a good sleep. An en-suite shower room completes the accommodation. The outside area is fully enclosed for your canine friend, and has a beautiful, raised decked area for enjoying a sundowner or an al fresco meal. Fully decorated throughout the Christmas period
Heading to the coast, you’ll find many beaches that welcome four-legged visitors. Aberporth (15 miles) boasts two beautiful beaches, one of which has no restrictions all year, so is the perfect place for off-lead fun. There are some gorgeous coastal walks branching away from Aberporth, offering far-reaching views across Cardigan Bay. Another popular beach is Poppit Sands (20 miles) which, again, has an unrestricted area all year. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path also starts here. For independent shops and woof-welcoming eateries, journey into Newcastle Emlyn, 6 miles away.
