Victoria house was perfect for our short family get away. The house was very comfortable and we had a lovely time. The doggies really enjoyed the large garden and tiled floors and the doggies food mat was a lovely touch.

This is a spacious and comfortable cottage with generous sized rooms and a large dog friendly garden. There is even a dedicated parking space which is great in a small village.

We had a lovely stay in Victoria House, the pub over the road was handy and very friendly. There are a few issues that we think need addressing, the doors are very low so need mind head signs, we banged our heads several times quite badly. Also the sheer drop from the garden to the path near the house was a big issue as we have two dogs who like tRead moreo play and we were so worried about them running off the edge and seriously hurting themselves we made a makeshift fence from our windbreaks, l should also be worried if l had children. The cottage could also do with a refresh as it's looking a bit tired and dated. Hide

Travelled with 4 adults and two dogs, this Beautiful cottage is in a perfect location, and had all the home comforts, plus a welcoming hamper on arrival. The public house over the road offers the cook of the house a joyful reprieve! We had a lovely stay for a week at Victoria house, St Issey in October with our two dogs! The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and the secure enclosed back garden meant the dogs were happy too. We will definitely book this cottage again the next time we visit Cornwall! The pub just over the road Ring O'Bells, was dog friendly anRead mored served good food. The cottage was ideally located just outside Padstow, giving easy access to many beaches around Newquay and St Ives. Our Daughters spent a fabulous day cycling the camel trail, fitting in wine tasting at the Camel valley vineyard along the way. We visited the garden at Pencarrow with the dogs, and had an amazing long walk around the woods/outer gardens. Also on the way home we visited Tintagel Castle, which was well worth a visit with its breathtaking scenery! Wed recommend the cottage and the area to anyone considering a visit.
