Take a small and peaceful break with a small group and the dog. You’ll be staying in Suffolk, 100 metres from a dog-friendly beach, in a lodge that overlooks the sea. It’s the perfect spot for creativity and getting back to nature, reconnecting with the things you love. You could take a small family, some friends or your significant other, and if you’d like a larger trip, other lodges can be booked along with this one.
The lodge door opens from the patio into a lounge/diner. It’s a spot which has great natural light and beautiful views of the beach through a large window. If you’re an early bird, you’ll get to watch the sun rise over the sea. When it’s dark, fire up the wood burner. The galley-style kitchen connects to the lounge/diner for your convenience. This property has two bedrooms, one single and a double, each decorated with pops of colour and nautical touches. There’s also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The garden is enclosed by a wooden picket fence, so your dog can sniff around securely. There’s a lawn where you could enjoy a picnic and a swing seat to stretch out on.
Amble along the dog-friendly Kessingland Beach, 100 metres away, or go for a dip whenever the sea calls you. There are some great places inland, too, including Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve, 5 miles away, which welcomes canine companions and is home to plenty of wildlife, so bring your binoculars! If you fancy the bustle of a larger town or want really excellent fish and chips, try Lowestoft, 5.5 miles.
