Take a family holiday in St Agnes, Cornwall. This charming cottage has olde-worlde and modern charms: it’s a Grade II-listed building with a thatched roof, which was renovated in 2023. You’ll have space for a small family or a few friends, plus a canine companion. Salty sea dogs and beach lovers will be delighted with the gorgeous Trevaunance Cove which is dog friendly and only 150 metres away.

Walk into the property to find a cosy lounge. There’s whitewash over the walls, which provides a nice contrast to the wooden floor and furniture. Listen out for the tiptap of your dog’s paws as they trot around! Continue through to the kitchen/lounge, where you can enjoy your home-cooked meals or pack up picnics. The ground floor has a WC, and upstairs you’ll see a shower room with another WC. This property has two bedrooms: a twin and a king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. Both are comfortable and quiet, so you’ll get plenty of rest. The garden is enclosed with a wall, so children and the dog can potter around on the lawn, and everyone can enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table.

The closest beach is Trevaunance Cove, and it’s easy to visit throughout the day and evening. If you’d like a longer walk through a magical area full of history, head to St Agnes Head, 2 miles, cared for by the National Trust. You’ll be staying in the village of St Agnes, which has shops, cafes and dog-friendly pubs. If you’d like a little more bustle, try St Ives, 24 miles away. Finally, take a big day trip to The Eden Project, 29.5 miles, for science, botany, exhibitions and much more.

A well equipped cottage, comfortable beds and effective shower. Well located for the sea - just a stone throw away with cafes and The Driftwood Spars hotel nearby but quite a jaunt up to the village facilities.

Great location, peaceful and convenient for SW Coat Path and local amenities. Cottage is characterful and spotlessly clean. Already booked for next year.

You will have a wonderful time here. Beautiful cottage, in an incredible location a few minutes from the beach. Great walks into the cliff tops and up into the local town. A brilliant place for a Cornish escape.

Really enjoyed our week in the cottage. Position excellent, close to all the facilities, walking and beach. Maybe a few little extras in the kitchen would be nice to help with cooking like oil and spices.

For those that dont know St Agnes is split over 3 levels. Heatherbell in on the lower one very close to beach, coastal path and a lovely pub. We loved the location but you need to be aware the walks to other levels are steep but in our view worth it. Peterville pub on middle level is very good and the main village at the top has a really good seafoRead moreod tapas restaurant and local shops. Cottage is lovely and well equipped for up to 4 people. We didnt have a dog this year but could see the garden, that is at the front so not private, seemed to be enclosed. Enjoyed our stay. Hide
