A great location just a small walk from the high street and beach. The kitchen is very small with basic appliances. Beds and sofa are comfy. Location is the selling point here.

The cottage was beautifully decorated throughout - nice and simple but modern mid century vibe which we all appreciated. Everything was immaculate when we arrived and easy to keep clean. The beds were very comfortable and beautifully made up with throws and cushions but not overdone. The temperature of the cottage was just right! We loved the littlRead moree sunny garden at the back and the lounge was lovely to come home to after a day out. Great location, near the beach and shops but parking an issue for everyone in those narrow streets. We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Dog and would highly recommend it! Hide

This was a lovely property, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The bottle of wine they left for us was a very sweet gesture and much appreciated. Close to beach and shops etc. loved our stay.

Well located for exploring Whitstable which is a lovely little seaside town. The cottage is very nice, with 2 downsides - no toilet upstairs, and parking can be problematic - it can be tricky finding a space near the property.

My elderly parents have just returned and have informed me that he hob didnt work and the oven was very dirty. When they arrived there was dirty pans of fat in the oven. Weather the hod was actually broken or needed to be switched on somewhere else they couldn't get it working . Being elderly they decided to eat out all the time rather then cook Read moreas they didnt want to bother anyone. I said they should have informed me but as the break was a present they didnt want to disappoint me . Over all they said the house was clean apart from the Oven which was obviously an oversite when the cottage was being cleaned before . also they said the lock box was hard for them . Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We've spoken to the housekeeping team and the issue has now been resolved. If your parents had flagged it at the time we would've have sent the team in to resolve it. Hide

The cottage is stunning, we absolutely loved our stay! The location is brilliant and couldn't be better for a short stay in Whitstable - 1 minute walk from the high street and a couple of minutes to the beach! We loved the garden, it really is a little sun trap and we loved having the outdoor furniture to relax on. The cottage is very well equippeRead mored with lovely decor and very comfy beds with nice bedding. The kitchen has everything you need and it was a nice touch having some of the basics there too (teabags, oil, salt etc). It was easy to check in and out using the key safe and it was handy to have multiple sets of keys. The TV and Wifi worked well too. It can be a little noisy at night given there is a pub close by but this could happen anywhere so wouldn't put me off. Would definitely recommend staying here! Hide
