A shared entrance leads up to this first-floor duplex apartment, where a hallway welcomes you with space to take off shoes and leads, and rub down sandy paws. Prepare tasty treats for your entire pack in the fitted kitchen, then gather around the dining table in the lounge to share good food and conversation. A large corner sofa is an inviting spot to watch a film, your pups snoozing at your feet. Upstairs, two light-filled bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep; catch glimpses of the sea from the king-size master room. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Let your pups get the morning zoomies on the beautiful beach at Carbis Bay. There’s a seasonal dog ban during the summer months from 10am to 6pm, but you can still enjoy early walks and evening strolls with your four-legged friends. The region has several beaches that welcome dogs year-round, including Bamaluz, Porthkidney and Mexico Towans (all within 6 miles) so you can enjoy quality beach time with your pups throughout the year. It’s a 2-mile drive or scenic train ride to St Ives, where you’ll find lots of dog-friendly eateries and delightful walks. One of the best takes you to The Island, a famous lookout with a 13th-century chapel, stunning sea views and opportunities for puffin spotting.

A very pleasant stay in a comfortable clean flat which has 2 spacious bedrooms. The owner provided a welcome pack which was much appreciated. Just a short walk to the beach and train station so nicely positioned. Would recommend.

Lovely clean property with all facilties you need. Clean, comfortable and a great location. Ideal also to catch the train into St. Ives when times are busy and don't need to worry about parking

This duplex apartment benefits from having a downstairs and upstairs. It is so homely and very clean. Its decorated beautifully with a seaside theme. Upon arrival we were greeted with a wonderful welcome pack of goodies and milk in the fridge too. We were so grateful after such a long drive. Really nice touch. The location is fantastic situated in carbis bay which is nice and quiet but still has local pubs, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach is a short walk too about 5 mins to the beautiful beach of carbis bay. This is on a hill though so walking back can be tiring if you struggle walking. We did the coastal walk to Porthkidney beach along the beaten track to enjoy the large quiet beach with our dog. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round which is fantastic. The train station is a short walk too. Takes about 5 minutes and is just around the corner from carbis bay beach. We took the scenic train to st ives which took only 3 minutes which was great. St ives is beautiful although very busy during peak season. We really enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely be back in the future. Hide

We had a really lovely week at Ocean's Nest. It was comfortable and cosy - everything we needed as a base for the week. And being short walk from the beach was ideal!

Very clean and comfortable apartment with all modern appliances from a food mixer through to a dishwasher. Chemist and convenience store on doorstep. 5 minutes walk from train station to catch train to St. Ives, a lot easier than trying to park in St Ives. Would highly recomend for couples or families

A lovely, cosy apartment for accessing Carbis Bay, St Ives and the wider area. You can walk down to the beach from the apartment or to the train station to avoid parking. Fully equipped kitchen so can cook up meals if needed. Board games and books were a nice addition to the property.
