A charming stone property with a leafy courtyard garden, set in the bustling heart of East Runton. Brimming with coastal charm, this hideaway is ideal for family or friends holidaying with a couple of tufty-pawed companions. Curious canines can snuffle in rockpools and crash through the foaming shoreline of West Runton Beach (2 miles), before stretching weary paws by the roaring wood burner while the humans sip a brew.

This beautifully airy property marries traditional character and contemporary flair. Picture intricate archways, exposed brickwork, crisp neutral hues, and lightwood accents. Shrug off outer layers in the hallway and towel down sandy pups in the utility space before padding into the Scandi-inspired living area. Prop open the patio door and stretch out on the corner sofas with a post-adventure tipple while Fido snuffles in the courtyard. Stepping into the shaker kitchen, portion up some takeout or prepare a meaty meal for your hound. Gather for a celebratory feast at the rustic wooden dining table backed by the striking whitewashed, cobblestone wall. After supper, retire to the stylish second lounge and unwind in the warmth of the wood burner. Upstairs, discover four beautifully presented bedrooms styled in calming sage and stone tones. Choose from two elegant doubles, a bright twin, and a cosy bunk room. Outside, set noses twitching with a stroll in the flower-peppered garden.

Beach-loving dogs can feel the wind in their fur with a salty saunter along Cromer Pier (1.5 miles) before posing for an obligatory photo as the sun slips below the horizon. Scamper along the woodland trails in the estate surrounding Felbrigg Hall (2.5 miles) then peruse the Doggie Delights (1.5 miles) ‘hound menu’ for pupcakes and woof dog beer.

We liked the cottage. The location is very nice, the layout is great; having 2 sitting rooms is good, it allows people to do their own thing, e.g watch different TV channels. I wasnt enamoured with the furniture, an eclectic mix which some people might like, but personally, I found it a bit on the cheap side. It seemed that it was probably acquireRead mored from an auction or charity shop. The beds, we used two, were very comfortable. I dont know who chose the curtains in the front right bedroom, but do you realise that their function is to keep the light out? We loved the garden but it was overgrown and badly in need of some tlc. Cleanliness is an issue, lots of cobwebs and dust, it wasnt filthy but it really needs a deep clean. My opinions may seem a bit negative but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again, but not for that price. Hide

Rose cottage is a beautiful traditional Norfolk cottage with plenty of space for our big family and a lovely enclosed garden for our dog. The local shops are very close and our favourite beach is just a short walk. The cottage was perfect for our holiday and we will definitely book again.

Such a beautiful base for a wonderful holiday. We were a family of 7 with mixed ages. The cottage was very roomy with and a great layout for us all. The games room and double sitting room pleased the younger members no end! The rooms are all huge and very comfy. The garden is also gorgeous and so fun to explore!

Overall the place is great. Lots of space for a family to hang out either all together or separately as the place has two large rooms. Bedrooms are a really decent size. Garden could do with a tidy up and cut back, however it has a cool little games room with pool, table tennis and air hockey. Really close to the beach, 5 mins max walk. Lovely cottage in a great location 10 minutes from the beach. Very comfortable with plenty of space to chill out. The outdoor dining area was great for family meals but perhaps could do with some shade. Would highly recommend this cottage

A lovely cottage which was well situated for our needs, the cottage itself was very spacious with comfortable furniture and the kitchen was full with everything you need, the games room had a pool table which can be turned into an air hockey table or converted into a table tennis table, the cupboard in the dining room also hid many board games thatRead more we enjoyed immensely. All in all if we holiday back in the same area we wouldnt hesitate to to re book. Hide
