The vintage record player is bound to interest any vinyl enthusiasts in your party. At the rear of the property, a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen with a Rayburn stove awaits the chefs among you, while the separate dining room creates a spot for enjoying meals together. Outside, you’ll have a large, enclosed garden where children and canine guests can run freely and happily on the lush lawn. A picnic bench is on hand for those al fresco meals and morning coffees.

You’ll find plenty to do nearby, starting with taking your faithful friends for a sandy tumble at Barafundle Bay (1 mile), a delightful golden sand cove. Another option is to absorb the tranquillity of Bosherston Lily Ponds (2.5 miles), a wildlife-rich nature reserve, then perhaps take a gentle stroll towards Broad Haven South Beach (4 miles, dogs welcome). Too many cobwebs when we arrived. Cooker not probably good enough to cater for six. Garden was more like a veg patch so we didnt use it at all. And no instructions at all that we could find about leaving rubbish / recycling out Other than that it was good. Fantastic location

This is a spacious cottage, well equipped and with lovely bedrooms. We really enjoyed the location of Chestnut Cottage and hadn't realised it was so close to walk into the Stackpole estate and around the coastline which we much appreciated.

We arrived in pouring rain opened the key safe Ok, there were four keys which we had great trouble opening the rear door as keys had to be applied in a sequence. We could not get a phone signal but was able to make a call to your office from the local pub, Stackpole Inn. We received mixed messages some said the keys were in the silver safe box ? HoRead morewever a young guy arrived to open the door. He also showed us where to park which again was hidden from view from the property. The enclosed garden was behind a 6ft fence between various properties, you entered via a bolted door with no indication this was part of Chestnut cottage. The garden was not laid to lawn (rough grass) and there was no BBQ as stated on your website. The property was not securely gated at the rear entrance and dogs and young children could wander onto the road. We believe the cottage was overpriced for what it had to offer. The owner did buy us a drink via the Stackpole Inn due to the key entry problem. Hide
