Here you’ll find a light-filled kitchen area (just the spot to pop down your furry friends’ bowls) with lovely rural views, a circular dining table for four and a comfortable seating area with a Smart TV and a DVD. The Scandi feel is accentuated by wooden floors and pale walls - it’s a minimal look that will help you start to de-stress immediately. This floor is completed by the family bathroom, and both bedrooms are up the open-tread staircase on the first floor. A double and a twin, they have the same fresh, bright feeling as in the rest of the property. At the front of the lodge, your small patio includes outdoor furniture and a BBQ so that you can take advantage of the fresh air and dine alfresco, with views over the lake.
On site you’ll find an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, games room, tennis court and children's outdoor play area. Outside, you can explore 17 acres of surrounding grounds with four coarse fishing lakes. Kilkhampton village, with shops and pubs, is just over a mile away, and dog-friendly Sandymouth beach is 3 miles. In Bude, 8 miles, you’ll find more canine-friendly beaches as well as shops, galleries and restaurants. And for a great day trip, the quaint fishing village of Clovelly is just 13 miles.
