Get away to the Cornish coast with your favourite human and hound in this sleek holiday home for two in Helston. You’ll be perfectly placed for exploring the rugged, south coast, with nearby highlights including Porthleven, Praa Sands, and the Lizard Peninsula (all within 10 miles). After a day of doggy adventure, unwind in your pretty courtyard for a spot of al fresco dining.

The stylish annexe has fresh and contemporary decor, with plenty of natural light. Enter the property at ground level, into a handy hallway for storing your dog-walking gear. Just off this area is a sleek shower room, and to the rear of the property is a fabulous kitchen/diner with everything needed for a self-catering holiday, including a slow cooker. Hard floors run throughout the ground floor, making it easy to deal with the odd muddy pawprint. Upstairs, set in the eaves, is an inviting lounge where you can curl up with a book or watch the Smart TV. The sofa bed in here can accommodate an additional guest, if required. Completing the first floor is a relaxing super-king-size bedroom. In the evenings, enjoy a sundowner in the courtyard garden. This area is fully enclosed for your canine pal.

Helston is a vibrant market town with independent pubs and eateries lining its Victorian and Georgian streets, many of which welcome waggy-tailed diners. In the centre of the town is a beautiful boating lake – the perfect place for a pre-breakfast stroll with the pup. Helston is known as the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, where you’ll find unspoilt beaches, rugged coast paths, and quaint villages. The stunning beach at Praa Sands (7 miles) is also a must during your visit. To avoid the summer restrictions, head down with Rover for an early-morning walk or sunset stroll.

Very good standard and presented well. Quiet location but close to many attractions without travelling far. Easy walk into town centre.

This property was ideal for our stay in Cornwall. It was clean, modern, comfortable, had everything you could need including washing machine, dishwasher microwave etc. The parking was off road and easily accommodated B class Mercedes (1796mm). Had a lovely time staying at the property, well located overall for the places we wanted to visit and the owners had created a real personal touch by leaving extra provisions for our dog including treats as well as being flexible and providing extra bedding for our daughter who wanted to stay also for a couple of nights on the sofa bed... overall vRead moreery accommodating and nicely presented!
