This luxury property just 350m from the beach in Southwold makes a wonderful base for exploring the charming Edwardian town with your family and pet. Boasting a meticulous decor blending historic character and modern aesthetic, it’s very easy on the eye, while its enclosed grassy garden will be a hit with children and your four-legged friend. Six humans and one doggie are welcome to stay at this three-bedroom home, so it’s great for a family holiday where you can enjoy all of Southwold’s excellent pubs and restaurants within 1 mile.

Renovated in 2023, this wow-factor property is fitted to a very high standard, starting with the light-filled kitchen-diner featuring a large central island and two sets of bifold doors. Cook up feasts surrounded by hand-painted units then enjoy extended meals at the wooden table nearby, as fellow guests and your pet pop in and out of the garden. In the delightful lounge, dogs can stretch out for long naps on the carpet while the humans sink into the plush sofas and indulge in a TV show. The charming exposed brick fireplace gives a nod to this traditional home’s decades-long heritage.

Take your pet for a stroll around the local area to discover local delights like Southwold’s attractive pier, colourful beach huts and iconic lighthouse, all within 0.5 miles. While some dog restrictions apply on Southwold’s main beach, at the more remote Denes Beach (1 miles), your faithful companion is welcome all year round. There’s an abundance of great spots for dog walks nearby, with many paths and bridle paths winding around to neighbouring villages, such as Wangford and South Cove (both 3.5 miles). In the Benacre National Nature Reserve (5 miles), take your pet on wonderful extended strolls past water lagoons and reed beds. It’s fronted by the peaceful Covehithe Beach which is perfect for off-lead adventures.

This is a lovely house close to the seafront. Good standard of bedding, Beds, Decor and other equipment. Second double room is fairly tight for space. Nice sunny garden and patio for sitting outside.

This is a gem of a house! Comfortable and stylish with a lovely garden area. It is in a quiet area but so close to the beach. Our little granddaugther decided that a 21 months she could walk to the beach and she did! The house is very clean and thoughtfully equipped with comfortable beds and sofas. We appreciated the stair gates and high chair and Read morethe provison of baby bowls and cutlery. We had a great week and went home feeling pampered! Thank you Hide
