Relaxation beckons with a comfortable corner sofa while dual-aspect muntin windows allow plenty of light in. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the stylish décor, featuring an appealing colour scheme and tastefully selected artwork on the walls. If it’s chilly, the wood burner-effect electric fire helps keep man and dog cosy. Prepare culinary delights and picnic lunches for tomorrow in the well-equipped kitchen, surrounded by glossy units. In the spacious enclosed garden, let your dog frolic on the lush lawn as you set up the charcoal BBQ, soaking in the tranquil countryside vistas from the comfortable outdoor seating.

You’ll find a dog-friendly pub 2 miles away in St Issey and a variety of shops, cafes and eateries in Padstow. When your pet needs some extended exercise, join the South West Coastal Path in Padstow for wonderful walks taking in the Camel Estuary and beyond. Our 2nd visit to this cottage. It is ideally located - close to A39 but in the country. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Anna and luke are welcoming and on site for any issues. The enclosed garden is a plus for our dog. Highly recommended

Another wonderful stay at The Wash House. This was our second stay and it was great. Anna and Luke are super welcoming and friendly. There was a small milk and Cornish shortbread for us when we arrived, and as it was Easter weekend we even got Easter eggs which was a nice bonus! The cottage is really well looked after and has everythinRead moreg you could need. We also used their stairgates and highchair for our toddler which Anna and Luke set up for our arrival, there's also a travel cot you can use but we took our own. The garden is big and enclosed which is really important for us as we have a dog. We would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone and will definitely come back again. Thank you! Hide

Just back from a weeks stay in The Wash House and we cant wait to go back to the farm next year. Anna and Luke are brilliant hosts! We stayed as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 20 month old) plus our golden retriever. The house is excellent, everything you could need is provided. We requested stair gates which were put on both the top and botRead moretom, we could also have had a highchair and cot but we took our own. The garden is completely secure for dogs, which Ive found at other places isnt always the case, so that was a bonus for us. Our daughter loved watching Luke with the sheep from our bedroom window, they really are just outside the cottage. Location is great, within 20 minutes you can get to Padstow, the 7 bays, Newquay etc so a really good base for getting out and about. The only really minor thing we found is because we had a dog and toddler with us. I wasnt sure whether to include it as I really dont want this to put anyone off but i know Id appreciate reading it when looking at reviews. The 2 sheep dogs kennel/house is outside fairly close to the cottage so when they barked in the night it made our dog bark which sometimes woke our daughter up, and if you have a baby/toddler you know it can take a while to get them back down. However, this would not stop us booking again, next time well just book one of the other cottages slightly further away from the dogs (however I want to stress the dogs really didnt bark that often so please dont let that put you off). We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! And as I said earlier wed love to go back next year. Hide
